So I thought I had figured this one out but I was wrong. Occasionally we need to correct a field entry on a donation that has been closed. This is easy in Classic using the "edit" button, however I don't seem able to edit records in Lightning even after temporarily changing the status to open. Am I missing something or is this not possible in Lightning?

Well, here's what the donation layout looks like out of the box from NPSP: https://powerofus.force.com/articles/Resource/NPSP3-Page-Layouts#!#opportunity. If resetting it to that doesn't work then it does sound like a bigger issue and the best course might be to open a support case so someone can actually see what's going on.
