Hi,
I have a custom object that has a large amount of automation all handled by a single Process Builder. I have a backlog of new automations that I need to add, but I am finding that adding new nodes to the Process Builder are causing some existing automations (primarily field updates and email alerts) to no longer work.
I know that eventually Process Builder will be going away and I am debating if I should break everything up into separate workflow rules or try to attempt to use Flow before Process Builder is integrated into Flow?
Also, I read that it's best practice to only have one Process Builder per object. Is that true?
Take a look at this document to help you decide, It's definitely in line with what Michelle is suggesting, but I always like sharing documentation backed by Salesforce.
