Cannot change domain name

Hello, I'm doing the hands-on exercise for the "User Authentication" module for admin cert and signed up for a separate professional dev ed and got allocated a domain name automatically. As part of the exercise, trying to change the domain name, but the My Domain section already bring me to step 4 (Step 1 should be where I can check for an existing domain name). In Step 4, the domain name is grayed out and cannot be changed.

    Hi Sachin,

     

    I'm a member of the Trailhead Support team. To complete the User Authentication module, you can create a new playground org and complete the challenge in playground org without changing the domain name for playground org. Because the playground orgs are already enabled with domains so no need to change the domain of playground orgs.

     

    If you would like to complete the challenge in a developer org, please sign up for dev org using the below link and connect it to Trailhead hands-on orgs section, launch the dev org and change the domain to complete the challenge.

    Note: Sometimes domain changed email notifications will be delayed or received in the spam folder. So no need to wait for domain created confirmation email.
