I have spotted a few other differences too - for example when I make a new contact, both a household and a seperate account is created. Am I right that we should only need the Household for individual contacts?

Thank you Rejith, that is really useful. I have been working through the Nonprofit modules on trailhead, but a few things have been different. I think this must be due to changes made by my pre descessor though if we are indeed operating the NPSP, so these modules will be really useful to help understand these changes. Thanks!
