Hi,

I have been struggling with a report and hope to get some help here.

We need a report showing the number of Accounts records  with Status "Active customer" with and without following related records (Mailing):

1. Mailing Type "First mailing" but NOT if there are mailing records of Type "Reminder 1" OR "Reminder 2"

2. Mailing Type "Reminder 1" (including First mailing) but NOT if there are mailing records of Type "Reminder 2"

3. Mailing Type "Reminder 2"  (includes First mailing and Reminder 1)

I tried to make the below Filter but the result shows Accounts with related record Mailing Type "First mailing" BUT the Accounts also have related record mailing type of Reminder 1 and Reminder 2.

I want the Account records that only have related mailing record First mailing.

How can I achieve that?

1 AND (2 AND 3 AND 4) AND (NOT (5 AND 6 AND 7))

1

Customer Status

equals Active Customer

2

Channel

equals KGM

3

Mailing Type

equals First mailing

4

Mailing Subtype

equals First Request

5

Channel

equals KGM

6

Mailing Type

equals Reminder 1, Reminder 2

7

Mailing Subtype

equals First Request

Any help will be appreciated

You might need multiple reports as Amnon suggested.

One trick that may help(??) is that you can use a "without" filter to exclude records WITH related records but WITHOUT a specific subfilter.

On the report below I wanted to see all leads that were linked to the "TEST 1" campaign but not with "TEST 2". I used 2 cross filters.

I know it's a bit confusing and counter intuitive to use "Without" to filter on leads WITH a related camapign ... but really the WITHOUT only applies to the subfilter if you specify one.
