"Date Since Last Activity" with formula: Today ( ) - LastActivityDate that returns a number.
It is hit-and-miss - it has calculated some numbers, and not others. I can't tell why some are calculating, and others not. A majority of the Leads do not have any email activity/tasks, but this doesn't appear to equate to whether the Date Since Last Activity field is blank or not.

There could be activities that are not directly related to the object which are impacting the "last activity date". So they don't show in the past activity timeline for the record, but they do affect the date.
