We have a similar system as the pricing plan on Salesforce's page.

We have around 10 different plans, all with different features included. A "Product" entity would be perfect if these were physical products, but they're services in which each offered feature is something done each month. The important end result is that we can look at an account page and see the active plan-defined services immediately and then see their plan history as well (they started up a plan last year, cancelled, then started up a new one).

Secondary, some of the plans may be a tad customized for the customers as well, and that would be nice to include. Also it would be nice to have a heads up display showing what everyone is paying at once.

Lol... well I won't get into that part of the conversation.

Technically you could use the standard contract object and then build customization to update it based on the product / service mix. You'll have to build something out to manage the additional / remove of services though.
