I only signed up to salesforce yesterday and tried to login for the first time this morning and book an accelorator session but I cant login as the system just keeps sending me back to the same screen and the customer support button does the same thing.
Is this typical of this system and does anyone know how I can contact anyone for help?

Hi, Graham and Welcome :-)
When you signed up yesterday, you likely got a Welcome email with a link to login and reset your initial Password...that Link only works the first time.Here's what I think you will have to do at this point:
- Your username should be in that Welcome Email - if you remember it, even better...it is most likely the same as your Email Address, but I am just guessing
- Go to https://login.salesforce.com
- Click the Forgot Password link and enter your username
- You should get a new Email for Finish Resetting Your Password (if you don't see it in your Inbox, check your Spam/Junk folder)
- Click the link in the new Email and login with your username and a new password (pick a password you will remember)
All future logins should be off the URL
https://login.salesforce.com (unless you are logging in to a Sandbox, which, then, the URL is https://test.salesforce.com)
If all else fails, then you will have to call Support 1-877-930-7302
