One of the profiles set up is a 'COMPANY NAME Standard User'. No changes were manually made to this profile but, when I have logged in today to make a change to it EVERY checkbox under Standard Object Permissions, Custom Object Permissions and Article Type Permissions is checked (see below). I want to know how this is possible so that I can stop it from happening again. Could it be something to do with the changes sets? Or the sandbox refresh? Or, is it something else?

Troubleshooting steps
- Check if the recent change set deployment into production has profiles associated with it.
- If yes, compare if you find the same profile name in the change set (Say , COMPANY NAME Standard User)
- If yes, then, going forward, make profile changes as manual changes instead of moving them as change sets. You can however move a fresh/1st time/new profile via change set without any issues.
