Does anybody have recommendations on best practices for heavy activity usage orgs?
My company's operation team uses cases, environments, contracts and a custom object to create implementation/training records. They are frustrated because there is no easy way to view all their activities related to the account because 1) their activities are spread out over four different objects and 2) the sales team creates dozens of activities on the account and the operation team activities are difficult to find among the sales team activities.
The operation team users indicate they spend a lot of time drilling into related cases, environments, contracts, etc. to get a sense of recent activity or to quickly identify activities regarding various items.
Does anybody have suggestions on how to allow an operations team to see all the activities they are creating when navigating from the account record?
I'm not sure if the Activity filters on the account page are customizable. If they are customizable, we could create filter options to exclude the sales team activities to allow operations users to only see the activities they have been creating. Or we could create filters to show or hide activities related to certain objects. For example, the operations user could filter to only see activities related to cases, environments, contracts and implementation records.
@Ramon Llames and @Ashley Bee, I apologize for not following up. I found a solution for my challenge. There is an app called Time Warp. I installed and configured the app and it has solved the challenges we were having: https://appexchange.salesforce.com/appxListingDetail?listingId=a0N3u00000ONnm7EAD
