Hi guys,

I have set up a rule to update the Owner Expiration Notice field value to "None" if it is new contracts and the opportunity type is equal to "Discovery".

But unfortunately, it works only if during creation I don't fill in the Owner Expiration Notice field. If I fill in any value from a picklist, then it isn't changed by the process builder.

I thought that may be the issue was with an empty value, but for example for "120 days" value the system behavior is the same.

The process works when a record is created or edited.

The condition is the following:

How to update not null Owner expiration notice field with a process builder?

The action is:

set the Owner Expiration Notice field to the $GlobalConstant.Null.

I had tried to set it to the120 days picklist value, but it didn't help.

Could you please help me to understand the possible reasons for such behavior?

    Don't know what is the difference, but rewriting the formula as follows helped:

    ISNEW()=TRUE

    &&

    [Contract].RecordType.Name ="SOW"

    &&

    ISPICKVAL([Contract].Opportunity__r.Type , "Discovery")

    &&

    ISBLANK([Contract].Opportunity__c)=FALSE

    Leave it here, maybe it will be useful for somebody else :)

    @Eric Praud, thank you for your help.
