Topics on Objects

I'm in the pre-release org testing Summer 18 "Topisc", and I'm not sure I understand the benefits. I've created 11 Topics for one Account record (lightning). When I search the Topic Name (global) ; only the topic object appears? Shouldn't the Account with the Topic Name get pulled in the search? Do I need to create a report to see Topics w/ Accounts? Is Topics just a non-searchable sub category?

    Hi Erin,

     

    I don't think this is already included in the search functionality, however you can view the records associated to the Topics from the Topic page in Salesforce Classic or you may also create a report using Topic Assignments as primary.
