Does anyone have an easy way to create a report that can find out which accounts DON'T have an internal contact. We send automated emails to clients from their clientname@ourcompanyname.com email address, and I need them to get routed correctly.

 

For internal contacts the name is typically [Company name] Finance Team, or [Client Name] [ Company Name]

 

Currently using a Contacts and Accounts report, with filter logic using for:

 

First Name not equal to [company],Finance Team  

 

    AND Last Name not equal to [company]  

 

    AND Status equals Onboarding,Active

 

    AND Email does not contain @[companyemail].com 

 

Right now the report just creates a list of all contacts that aren't internal contacts. Does anybody have to refine it to exclude accounts with an internal contact at all? Thanks so much!

    Maddy , you can easily do this using a cross filter. (Provided you are on Enterpise Edition or above)

     

    1. Create a plain Accounts report.

     

    2. Set the field filters as required.

     

    3. Add a Cross Filter like this:
