We are coordinating installations across multiple time zones and trying to see what others are doing to clearly articulate dates / times taking into account multiple time zones. Currently, I have a field named "Start Date / Time" which will reflect the user's local time but is causing some confusion when users across time zones are accessing the same record.

Is the answer to simply rename the field to "Local Start Date / Time"? The field will show 9:00am for an east-coast user and 6:00am for a west-coast user.

I think renaming the field should be easy enough, as long as you educate users on the meaning of 'Local' as I imagine people may think 'Local' is relevant to the record creator or the record itself.

I would suggest also using help text so users can hover over that and clearly see a note that indicates the time displayed is in the their local timezone.
