Currently: We represent different Brands, and each Brand has a Brand Group which we use to assign Prospects to reps (using round robin). We send out marketing emails to a queue of open, "unassigned" prospects. We include a call to action to submit an application for any given brand. Whenever a prospect clicks this button, their member status in the corresponding Salesforce Campaign updates to "viewed application." Once an application is submitted, the Prospect is assigned via Pardot group depending on the brand.
What we want: We want to come up with a way to assign those who did NOT submit the application to a rep. We also want them to receive an email encouraging them to complete their unfinished application.
We considered using Engagement Studio to facilitate this, in conjunction with a Dynamic list. However, Engagement Studio isn't repeatable. We have multiple applications that any given prospect could interact with - and could do so multiple times. I thought we could use an Automation Rule, which is repeatable. However, we would need to wait for a period of time to ensure they had time to complete the application. For instance, if they click the button, they are considered to have "viewed application." However, while they are filling out the application, I don't want them to be assigned to a rep and receive the "Please finish your app!" email notification.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
