Hi kiran,
Salesforce people introduced governor limits because they want to make the process simple and want to treate all the customers in same way.
1) If i take 5$ lisence and with 5users and my opponent has taken 20users lisence they will give the same priority for both the users.
2) What i mean to say is for all lisences the govrner limits will be same and which will make the users to use the salesforce in a productive way.
3) every body has to retrive the date from the salesforce server only so If u take a big company they will retrive more data at a time this will make a small company to wait for a long time to get the data they required so they introduced governer limits in which all of them has to bind for that.
