I am new to Salesforce and having difficulty creating an autoresponder email template populated with custom objects. I created custom objects from the Lead Fields tab that I was able to plug into the email (Ex: {!Lead.Router__c} ) but once I send a test preview email to myself, the custom objects don't appear; only the standard ones.
Any help solving this issue is appreciated!

Hope this answers your question: The email template is meant to be an autoresponder sent to a sales rep once a prospect fills out a web form that was made in Pardot. I was able to create a custom field that shows up in the Merge field section as seen below. I'm assuming I created the custom field incorrectly since it's not showing up in the email preview I received.
