I'm trying to enforce case status equal New when case is created form Partner community profile.
Unfortunately validation rule fires for all statuses.
tried the following exampls
First Example:
AND(
ISNEW(),
TEXT(Status) <> "New",
$Profile.Name = "Partner - CommunityProfile"
)
Second Example:
AND(
ISNEW(),
NOT(ISPICKVAL( Status ,"New")),
$Profile.Name = "Partner - CommunityProfile"
)

Hi Klajdi,
Your validation rules, both of them, are absolutely correct. If they're firing errors, then the problem could be to do with automation that tries to change the status as soon as the case is created, or that you're using a custom status field rather than the default one.
