We have a process where 6 individual panelists enter scores which are recorded in Salesforce under an object called "Assessments" which is then tied to an Object call an "Application". I am trying to create a field to capture the variation in Assesments for each application, with a higher number indicating greater disagreement (displayed in the following image). The Paneist are asked to Rate the Application on a scales of 1-10 in a field called overall impression.
What is the best way to accomplish this in Salesforce? Using variance/standard deviation?
If I choose variance or standard deviation, I need a value for difference from the average. Each application has been scored 6 times, and my summary table just displays average score. Is it possible to create a formula field in the summary table or a field on the Application that would calculate each score’s difference from the average score?

Thanks Jeff! I'm helping Cory with this and appreciate your input. We already have a field for average score, but by grouping created a field for delta from average. We're now stuck trying to add these "delta average" values for each application. Is there a way to sum a formula field?
I attached screenshots to clarify what I've done (feel free to ignore the entrepeneur and business fields, we're just using likelihood to recommend selection at ISP).
