Hi Debra,
If you are using Salesforce Mass Email fucntionality, the answer is no. Salesforce CRM is not an eDM tool. You will need to utilise external applications such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, MailChimo, Campaign Monitor etc to execute your marketing campagins which will give you the subscription options too.
