You can assume I've deleted all the reports in these folders beforehand, and also emptied the reycling bin.

I called that custom report type "Reports w/ folder info" and saved it for future use - I am always going back to it, either for the Folder ID, or to find out who created the folder. That way you do not have to run a Data Loader export, you can just use the report to get to the info you need. :)
