User profile validation rule help?

I'm trying to create a validation rule on the user object. In "english" the rule means to make sure that a picklist value, a phone number field and a user name field are ALL populated before a user record with one of two profiles. 

 

AND( 

 

ISPICKVAL(Sales_Organization__c,""), 

 

ISBLANK(Branch_Phone_Number__c), 

 

ISBLANK(Epicor_Username__c) 

 

&& OR(Profile.Id = "00eb0000000ZNTL", Profile.Id = "00eb0000000EdIb" ))

 

The syntax works fine but in practice the rule allows one of the three fields to be blank? Suggestions welcome...

    Give this a shot.

     

    Yours requires all three to be blank, which I don't think is what you are going for.

     OR(
      ISBLANK(TEXT(Sales_Organization__c)), 
      ISBLANK(Branch_Phone_Number__c), 
      ISBLANK(Epicor_Username__c) 
    ),
     OR(
      Profile.Id = "00eb0000000ZNTL",

      )
