I want to make the Primary Market mandatory, so that the user has to complete all fields when creating a new Account. How do I accomplish?

Hi Dave,
The issue is at Account creation, you cannot make its child object mandatory ie. you cannot create parent and child record at the same time. May I ask if account may contain more than one primary markets? If not, perhaps an option is to make those fields as custom fields in Account object. Unless there are other reasons to make this a custom object and relate it account as master-detail.
