I would like to set-up some type of rule, that if my "Account Type" equals X, then I want a Related List to become mandatory that it is completed and updated. Can such a rule like this be completed in the Professional edition?
Don't know if you need to know the following;
"Account Type" is a custom field in the Account object.
The Related List is a custom object, and is situated in the Account object.

Okay, then you could create a Roll-Up Summary field on the Account object that counts the number of Primary Software Offering records related to the Account. Then you could add a Validation Rule like this: AND(

CASE(Type,
