Can Chatter archive to Proofpoint for compliance purposes?

We are currently archiving all email to Proofpoint to satisfy compliance requirements.  Ideally we would like to do the same with Chatter.  Is that possible?  Has anyone accomplished Proofpoint archiving?

    Sorry for the delay Jason - Chatter has API access to all data inside, but to integrate with a 3rd party system, you would want to pull all data for all users where as API calls for the free version are limited to that one user's visibility, and would miss private group posts for any groups that person is not a member of.
