user should not have edit permission on record

Question

Hi, I have one user called User1 with Customer Community Login licence.The profile have Read,Edit,delete permission on case object. User1 have no role,No Permission set,Not belongs to any public group or queue.OWD od User1 has created one case after login to community. With the record type 'HR cases'.Case #01394688.Case is assigned to 'XYZ group' based on the assignment rule. User2 member of 'XYZ  group' has taken the ownership of the case from XYZ. Changed the record type to 'ER Cases'.Later User2 assigned this case to User3 . User3 belongs to the public group 'ER Group'.Case record type 'ER Cases' are sharing with 'ER Group'. Issue : User1 who is not belongs to 'ER group' having access to edit the record #01394688. Can any one tell me the reason? Regards, Anjana

Hi Anjana,   Any Sharing sets configured for the community user??Check under Community Settings for the same

Hi Anjana,   What is the OWD of the Case Object?   If you click on Sharing button on the Case record you will be able to find out the exact reason why User1 has access to the Case record.   there could be multiple reason why user1 has access to the record, best way to find out is by clicking on the Sharing button.   some of the reasons I could think of is   1. OWD of the Case Object is Public Read only or Read/Write   2. User has access to View All or Modify All permissions on cases through a permission set   3. Sharing Rules on Case object   4. Manual Sharing   5.Sharing Rules on Account Object where the Case Access is set to Read/Write
