Can I show Variance horizontally

I need to compare this year V last year, this mth V this mth last year etc and show the variance in this format

 

                            Jan 2012          Jan 2013          Var to Last Year              % Var to last Yer

 

Product X             100                    200                           100                               100%

 

Any ideas out there ?

    Yes, create matrix report and report formula for the variance using PARENTGROUPVAL, PREVGROUPVAL  formula
