Good day my favorite community

So... I need to know if it's possible to use one lead against many opportunities. Scenerio below:

Jane Baxter from eBio exists as a Lead

She has now been qualified and we've identified an opportunity with eBio

We convert her from a lead to an account and an opportunity and so begins the sales process.

However

HighStreetPartners breaks out our Opps into Country

So for every Country that we have an opportunity to service we create a new opportunity for.

I.e. China with eBio, Spain with eBio, Japan with eBio, etc.

Since all of these Opportunities came from the same lead, how do I show that? Is it possible?

I ran a report with all of our leads. It only shows the ONE opportunity (that was created during conversion) and not the others (which understandably makes sense).

My question is - how do I link them to that original lead or can I not?

Thanks :)

Unfortunately the Lead with Converted Lead report only displays the original Opportunity that was created upon conversion.

If you institute a Best Practice of creating the new Opportunities from within the Contact record they will automatically be linked to the Contact via the Contact Roles and visible in a standard Opportunity report. There are a couple of free Apps on the AppExchange that you can use to help implement this

Okay, heres the rub...  Primary Contacts do not automatically get inherited when you use the Clone Opportunity button, so if you clone an existing Opportunity the user will need to manually connect it to the appropriate Contact.
