Hi All,

We just had a fundraising breakfast and had companies sponsor tables at different levels. One company who normally donates in April did so again, with $5,000 going towards the breakfast. Their total donation was $7,500 and we entered it into SF as such in April.

However, we'd like to attribute $5,000 (and not $7,500) to the fundraising breakfast campaign. Is there a way to do this without making two different donations from the company ($5,000 and then $2,500)?

Thanks!

Bobby

Salesforce does not allow you to split donations across multiple campaigns with the out of the box campaign field on the donation. Without building your own donation to campaign relationship using a junction object, the best way is to create 2 donations with the split. If you build your own, you will have to rebuild with APEX all of the out of the box functionality that rolls up at the household level and at the campaign level.

I found this on the appexchange - https://appexchange.salesforce.com/listingDetail?listingId=a0N300000059P3fEAE&tab=r - it might suit what you are looking to accomplish and it is free.
