Does Lightning not allow you to clone opportunities with product? In classic, we always had the option to clone with or without products, it doesn't seem that Lightning gives that option.

There is a standard option available in Lightning now as of Spring 20, https://releasenotes.docs.salesforce.com/en-us/spring20/release-notes/rn_sales_features_core_clone_with_related.htm.
