"X Days until Lightning Experience"

Asking if someone can please confirm whether or not this will activate in our Org?

We will be transitioning to Lighting in the near future but NOT ready to transition at this time.

All of our users are assigned to CUSTOM PROFILES and, within the System Settings of each Custom Profile, the 'Lightning Experience User' and 'Lightning Login User'  parameters are 'unchecked'. 

I'm assuming, therefore, that our users can ignore the above message since they will NOT be auto transitioned to Lightning. 

Is that a correct understanding or must I take further steps to ensure that our users are not converted?  Also, is it possible to suppress display of this message?
