We are trying to determine if we should implement a high volume platform event for a casino gaming floor messages. We will average 12-15 million events per day with spikes to 25M. A significant number of these would be filtered out / discarded and not create anything to do within Service Cloud. Should this be implemented as a high volume PE or as a service in Heroku that would create platform events on the lower volume events? I am hearing from a SF architect that high volume events cannot support these volumes at the present time.
