Happy Friday Folks,
Did you ever encounter this issue, when ever you are building a custom lightning component and have to add a Look Up field, have you ever thought of how much time it could save you if we have a Base Look Up Component that does it for you.
If you think so please up vote the idea.

@Ramya Ramamoorthy I'm looking at several enhancements to lightning:recordView/EditForm, such as the ability to mark a inputField "required" on the client-side, as well as, doing client-side validation.
As for the idea of a standalone lookup, this has been a long-standing request, however, it is sadly not as easy as one would think.
