Hoping to clarify functionality on list view charts. It seems that there is no way to define a chart as part of a shared list view, meaning that all charts must be created on an individual basis. But unless the user can manage shared list views they can't create a chart. What is the recommendation here for admins? I as an admin can create charts off my list views but my users cannot see them. And I cannot define charts that my users CAN see. Is anyone actually using this functionality as is? I don't see how it's useful...

Thank you @Jeff Davis. I think list view charts in Lightning could be such a BIG win for adoption if admins could create them for their users as part of the list view configuration process and share to others (now that we can share list views in Lightning! woohoo!). As is, I'd guess that adoption of this feature isn't very high.
