Hi all,

I have a question round Send Email action in Lightning. Is there a way to set a default template for a custom object so that the user can click on Send Email and then click Send instead of finding the template, etc. It is so cumbersome to navigate for an admin. I can imagine how difficult it will be for a user to do this. It wiill push them away from using the standard functionality if we cant use default email in Send Email. I tried pre-defining the Email template with template Id, but it doesn't take it and gives me an error.

I found this article around Case but I think its not available for custom objects.

 Please let me know if there is a workaround.

The only other way I can think of is popuklating the HTML body with ny email body, but it is too long and it looses formatting.
