@Michelle Hansen The folks who are directing the roadmap are following this group, and I feel confident that they have heard this feedback before. :-) If you find anything on this in the Ideas Exchange you can vote it up and follow the updates once it passes the vote threshold. I am not an authority on this, but I *suspect* that this will be addressed when the old Classic page layout editor is no longer needed to control the way record details appear on the page in Lightning.
