Folks - This is a general question but related to our lightning migration project hence posting here.
Our internal process for opportunity creation, account creation and more - are not a standard salesforce out of the box. We have modified it to accommodate multiple BUs. So to meet our internal training requirements in lightning change management - we have created training documents - responsive html pages (like a static website). The size of folder is 30+mb. Offlate we found that there is no easy way to load these files and access seamlessly from salesforce. Otherwise, users will be making so many clones in their machine that wont be a good user experience too.
I asked my team, they replied me back saying that - we cannot keep 30 mb file as a one. but we can zip them and break into multiple files and load them into static resource. This development also needs some effort
Just curious is there any quick way to load these html files and view them from Salesforce.
Ideally, I would love to do the product tour or demo or path feature way. However, the project took the different direction and the help document team created as static html files. So I don't have a control over it but at the end, we've been asked put into salesforce. Now we have a zip file that has an index.html as a primary file. I like your idea - enabling link in multiple locations. We can try out
