I have some custom javascript buttons that I need to figure out how to make work in LEX. The buttons send data to our internal order processing system. Only a couple of SF users need to be able to use those buttons until we completely migrate over to LEX. If I enable Lightning for some users and not for others, will those custom buttons still be available in the classic view of SF if the user toggles back and forth between Classic and Lightning? #JS_Alternatives

Karin, the custom buttons will not be shown in LEX since they're not supported. What you can do is, as Tammie Silber said, is create quick actions which execute lightning components or visualforce pages, what you think fits best for your needs.
