In share point sites, we can set up security permissions so people can access only certain folders.

If salesforce connects to sharepoint or google drive etc through file connect, how does it honor the security model enabled on SP or google etc

How does files connect know what access the user should have to those files if they are accessing them via salesforce 

Kindly help me on this.
