Hi everyone,

What is wrong with this formula?

IF ( ISPICKVAL ( Prospect_Status__c , "contacted" )OR ISPICKVAL (Prospect_Status__c , "applied" ) , TRUE,FALSE)  No matter what I do, the syntax check says Error: Syntax error. Missing ')'.  I can put that ) in any number of places, but the error continues.  The goal: if Prospect_Status__c, a picklist, has either "contacted" or "applied" as the value, then a checkbox is checked; if the value is something else or is blank, the checkbox remains unchecked.

Thanks for your help!

    PS. Or you could use this, but I personally hate writing "" in a Formula to represent a blank value

    AND(

    CASE( Type ,

    "Ad", 1 ,

    "Sponsorship", 1 ,

    0 ) = 1 ,

    CASE( Ad_Display__c ,

    "Print" , 1 ,

    "Digital" , 1 ,

    "" , 1 ,

    0 ) = 1

    )
