Thought I'd share some useful info for anyone planning on taking the exams.

I went to register for the admin exam and saw that there was an onsite and online proctored version available. I was ready to take the exam now so I registered for the online exam 15 min before the start time. BAD IDEA!

AFTER I registered, I got an email and realized that there was a lot to setup. You have to login to your newly created account, install an app, then it takes a photo of your face.

The big kicker is that to take the online proctored exam, you are required to have an external web cam. So that means you cannot use the built web cam on your computer. Because of this, I cannot take the online exam.

So hopefully Salesforce doesn't make me pay again or charge me fees for changing to an onsite exam.

I'm surprised more people don't come across this issue. There is no disclaimer or warning before registering for an online exam that an external web camera is required. Good luck to those taking the exam soon!

Did anyone else experience a similar issue?
