Dont forget – REGISTRATION IS LIVE for the London Community Sprint on 9 June 2025. And registration is ALSO now open for Agentforce World Tour + TDX London — all happening the same week!

Join us for an impactful day of collaboration, creativity, and community at the Salesforce Bluefin office, where fellow nonprofit, education, and impact sector enthusiasts will come together to build innovative Salesforce solutions and brainstorm ideas to address common challenges. We especially welcome participants involved in UK Housing projects to join us!

This London Community Sprint aims to bring together partners, customers, and employee volunteers to create solutions that make using Salesforce more impactful for nonprofit, education and UK social housing organizations. It's a fantastic opportunity to network with local Salesforce professionals doing similar work and learn from Salesforce experts in this space. Many participants have reported an increase in their skills by participating in these Sprints.

Here's what you need to know:

  • Registration is now open! Don't miss your chance to secure your spot.
  • This is a hands-on event where you can contribute your Salesforce skills (end-user, admin, developer, architect, and more) to build real solutions. You can also contribute through project management, technical documentation, UI/UX testing, and more.
  • A ticket to Agentforce World Tour + TDX is NOT required to attend the Sprint, although we certainly encourage you to join both events!
  • Get ready to be part of the action! We're looking forward to another engaging event at the Bluefin building.

Register for the Sprint: https://londoncommunitysprint.splashthat.com/

When we approve 60 grants with the same disbursements and funding requirements is there a way to create it once and allocate it to all approved recipients? The time and repetitive nature of doing this individually means a grants manager has to create two requirements plus Three disbursements for each approved grant for a total of 5 X 60 redundant tasks. @Rachel Adshead

Would all the requirements have the same date (which you'd want to add before the requirement is created) or do you want to create the requirement and then manually populate a different date on each requirement?

I have used a flow to create Requirements - based on the status of the Funding Request. On the Funding Program I store the due date(s). On the flow, the entry criteria is Status = Awarded. Then there is a just a create element that creates a Requirement or Requirements connected to the Funding Request with mapping from the Funding Program and other manual mapping. (I have also added a decision element if there are unique/different needs in the same Funding Program.)

If you don't have the same due date across all the Requirements - you could store that on the Funding Request and map it in the flow OR you could just create a list view and update those manually after the Requirements are created.

Happy to give additional guidance if you have specific questions.

I´m wondering if I there´s any value in me attending this as an observer? I have no coding-sandbox experience, and doubt I´ll be able contribute too much on the problem solving side, but would be interested to see what people come up and how the process works..? I have thus far not engaged with other Salesforce users so feel like just being around enthusiasts will be an education!

    Hi @Nisha Jacob welcome!

    Who attends sprints?

Anyone can attend, but we do highly recommend you have at least some level of experience as a Salesforce End-User, Administrator, Developer, or other Salesforce product related experience.

Our team is committed to hosting a diverse and inclusive event and we find that those who have at least a baseline of experience and knowledge in our products have the most impactful time at a Sprint.

In general, we encourage all those who work within the Salesforce ecosystem (Customers, Partners, and Employees) who have an interest in helping build technology solutions to make using Salesforce easier for Nonprofits, Schools, and Housing Associations to register to attend.

Any questions? Visit the FAQ for more information. Hope that helps!

Here is the reg link if you decide to join - again want to clarify of course these are open to all, but this is not a day of training so just wanted to set the right expecations ;)

The Commons is excited to announce the launch of our Nonprofit Cloud Best Practices group’s NPC Community Asset Hub! The assets on this new Hub is an open source, volunteer-led initiative to provide additional resources for nonprofits and consultants who are implementing Salesforce’s Nonprofit Cloud.

The initial launch of the site includes:

It’s 2025 and that means we’re celebrating 10 years of Sprints as a community! 🥳💙🦖

As Director of the Salesforce Commons program and a participant or host at almost every event in the past 10 years, I've had the honour of witnessing the incredible success they've had on the Salesforce Nonprofit and Education Trailblazer community firsthand.

What started as a way for the Salesforce community to contribute to the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) has grown into a global movement, bringing together over 3,700 participants at 59 events to create freely accessible solutions for nonprofits and educational institutions.

This article is a heartfelt 💙 thank you 💙 to everyone who has contributed their time, energy, and skills over the past decade. I reached out to all of the original planners of the first Sprints in 2015, and am excited to share the memories and reflections I received.

Community Sprints are more than just technology; they're about creating connections, sharing ideas, and making a real difference. Read the full article to learn more about our journey, how to get involved at events this year, and see the incredible impact we've achieved together.

I'd love to hear your Sprint stories and "ah-ha" moments in the comments below! This is the first in a series of articles celebrating this milestone, so stay tuned for more! It’s 2025 and that means we’re celebrating 10 years of Sprints as a community! 🥳💙🦖 As Director of the Salesforce Commons program and a participant or host at almost every event in the past 10 years

Is this the right place to ask about accessing some of the wonderful outputs of these Sprints?

I was really interested in hearing about this a while back:

ANZ Payment Solution Framework:

Focused on creating a decision tree to identify which companies/products could be used to solve local and general use cases. Payments, Receipting and Integrations is top of mind for a lot of people; customers want guidance about where to start, they want simplicity. The team designed a working Flow to help local NGO’s understand what local providers would be a good fit for their unique needs, resources, and skill-sets. And, check out their incredible video to promote their work!

Next Steps: Publish the flow externally so NGO’s can start using it!

——

This framework would be incredibly useful. Did it ever get released?
