Portland Head First Java Study Group
Interested in learning APEX but can't quite seem to grasp the beginning APEX classes? This study group aims to hit that level right before APEX by being an intro to developer concepts. We will use the very handy Head First Java Book as our tool.
The concept is that this is a group class - each participant is responsible for reading this hands-on book, and we will review questions and the exercises as a group. The goal is to provide an environment where you can easily and efficiently move past stopping blocks / difficult concepts in your search to some day, write a proper trigger in APEX.
This series of sessions will not teach you APEX but rather the background that most Intro to APEX classes and workbooks assume you already have.
