
Tableau Publicのメールアドレス変更手続き
Tableau Publicのメールアドレスを変更するために、以下の手続きを実施しました。
1. メールアドレスの変更をリクエスト
以下のメールをTableau Publicのサポートチーム(public@tableau.com)に送信し、メールアドレスの変更を依頼しました。

件名: Request for Public Profile Reclamation
Hi Tableau Public team,
I would like to change the email address associated with my Tableau Public account linked to the following URL:
https://public.tableau.com/app/profile/rsugimura/vizzes
Currently, abc@tableau.com is linked to this account, but I would like your team to update it to abc@gmail.com.
I was advised by a Salesforce employee as follows:
For users whose accounts are linked to both Tableau Public and Tableau Cloud, in order to login to Tableau Public using a different email, they will need to create a new TableauID account with that new email, and make a Public Profile Reclamation Request to associate their existing Public profile with that new TableauID account. To start the Public Profile Reclamation Request, end-user can send an email to mailto:public@tableau.com and we will handle the request manually.

2. ケースが起票され、サポートから返信が届く
Tableau Publicのサポートから、変更を進めるための手続きについて案内がありました。

Good day.
Just to clarify, you already have made a new Tableau ID account, which is abc@gmail.com
This new Tableau ID account should replace the email ID abc@tableau.com
which is linked to your Tableau Public profile ( https://public.tableau.com/app/profile/rsugimura/vizzes )
Am I correct? If yes, then I need you to follow the below Reclamation process:
1. Send us the scan of your ID or Utility bill from the new email address you want to use.
2. For corporate/educational accounts, an email from the business domain and an image of corporate credentials is needed.
Also, provide us these information:
- Name of the Tableau Public Profile that needs to be reclaimed.
- The current email address associated to it.
Please confirm and understand that the current Public profile associated with this new email will be irrecoverably lost (including all of its content) when this email takes over the profile being reclaimed.

3. 新しいメールアドレスから、身分証明できる情報を送付

I was told to send my personal ID information from a new email address for the Request for Public Profile Reclamation, so I am sending it accordingly. Thank you.

4. 手続き中のメールアドレスから、3で送付した内容をケースのメールに返信

Yes, you are correct.

I sent my passport copy from abc@gmail.com as attached.
- Name of the Tableau Public Profile that needs to be reclaimed:

Please confirm and understand that the current Public profile associated with this new email will be irrecoverably lost (including all of its content) when this email takes over the profile being reclaimed.
Yes, I have confirmed and understood. The new email address (abc@gmail.com) does not contain any public content, so there should be no issue.
If the current email address (abc@tableau.com) is updated to abc@gmail.com without deleting any public content, please proceed with the change.

5. 約10日後に無事にメールアドレス変更が完了し、確認の返信を受け取る

Good day.
As per our Tableau Public team, kindly log in with the new email.
You should be able to see the vizzes and profile from your old account now which is linked to the new email (abc@gmail.com).
