Other users in my company downloaded this version in an identical way but for some reason the connection is blocked at the first server sign on screen.

reinstallation of version
changing net.properties commenting out #http.nonProxyHosts=localhost|127.*|[::1]

Hi, it seems those users use proxy. Make sure to allow the URLs in the proxy:
https://help.tableau.com/current/desktopdeploy/en-us/desktop_deploy_proxy.htm
