We've just installed Server 2022.1.10 on a brand new VM. We restored a backup from 2020.4 and have been testing for about a week.
Our problem: We started on drive C: but needed to move to E: for various reasons. I obliterated C: and reinstalled on E: with no issues. Until we started to test our extracts and data sources from Oracle.
We have been digging through the logs and various online documentation but we cannot get our Oracle connection to work on E: - in the [jprotocolserver_dataserver*.*] logs it appears that the C: location for drivers is hardcoded.
Any tips for making Tableau Server look at E: for the drivers, or how to better set up the application for a non-default installation location, would be much appreciated.

I can confirm that the location is indeed hard coded. On a Windows system the Oracle driver needs to be placed in the following location:
C:\Program Files\Tableau\Drivers
Whether this is the install location for Tableau Server or not is irrelevant in terms of the driver itself.
Can you try that and let me know how it goes?
