The business unit has Plan numbers. Plan can vary throughout the year as it is updated (starting with AOP, then 3+9 forecast, and so on). The Plan #'s are pulled into Tableau from an excel spreadsheet which lists the Plan type (AOP, 3+9, etc). The flow has a number of calculations to split the measures, calculate gross margin, etc which are named according to the Plan (eg AOP Revenue, AOP Gross Margin, etc). What I'd like to accomplish is that these column headers are updated such that the Plan type (AOP, 3+9) is joined with text " AOP Revenue" etc or in other words [Plan] + " AOP Revenue" and so on.
It is critical that dashboard users know what version of Plan is being used for comparisons and what I'm trying to avoid is having to do is change column header names each time that the Plan version changes.
