I am following this link https://help.tableau.com/current/server/en-us/remove_tableau.htm to obliterate the tableau server. It is UAT environment, the server is up and running. I want to obliterate so as I can install the new version (as upgrade is not working, upgrade failed twice, 2020.1.4 to 2020.4.1) so instead I want to obliterate current version, install new version and restore from backup, but obliterate script is not working. attached screenshot of error. Any help is appreciated
Thank-you @Amruta Bande, so you actually upgraded your server to uninstall it.
For future reference or for anyone facing the same issue, you only need to alter the server version on line 49 of the script to match the version of the instance you need to uninstall:
Save the script back as a .cmd file and you should be good to execute.
