Mixing Dimensions and Measures in Rows

I was wondering if it's possible to mix both dimensions and measures in rows. I would like to create a table with both dimension headers and measure headers. Dimension header is date field with dollar amount as "Text" mark. And measure headers are two or three calculated fields. But I don't want date field to apply on those measure fields.

I have tried several ways. Below is what I got. But there 3 problems.

1. When I select more months from filter, the first column(Month Total) will be crowded together and texts are overlapped, because width of continuous field is fixed.
2. I would like to place header on the top instead of the bottom of table.

I attached a packaged workbook. I know it looks okay even after selecting all months. But this is just a sample. It looks very messy in the first column after I replace with real dataset.
