While working with SAP Sybase ASE using custom SQL in Tableau desktop there are few columns in my table KNA1 has special character in column name, there I am getting error.
Column Name: /Var/RO_VSHO
Tried to keep column name like [/Var/RO_VSHO]
Error is still same

Tableau connects to Sybase ASE version 15.2 and later.
I am curious to understand why columns names are holding escape characters
Is the SQL running against any SQL Editor like DBeaver/Desktop SQL Utility ?
